2021 World Cup Fayetteville Also To Be Streamed On FloSports
FloSports, a leading sports streaming and original content network, and Fayetteville 2022, the organizers of the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships announced today an agreement to broadcast the race scheduled for January 29-30, 2022. The agreement grants FloSports the exclusive US broadcast rights for the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships and includes the rights to World Cup Fayetteville, the UCI World Cup event scheduled October 13, 2021. Both events will be carried on FloSports’ dedicated cycling platform, FloBikes and through the FloSports app.
The 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships will be hosted in Fayetteville, AR and marks the second time the race has been hosted in the US since its inception. The last time the World Championships were hosted in the US was 2013 in Louisville, KY. The 2021 World Cup will be the first time the three-year old FayetteCross cyclocross festival will host a World Cup event. For more information on both events, visit: Fayetteville 2022
Race Director Brook Watts commented, “We couldn’t be happier with this announcement. FloSports is the logical partner, and unequivocally the best suited as they continuously raise the bar in quality streaming cyclocross race offerings. The company has emerged as the leader in both engaging cycling content and live race coverage with their exclusive agreement to stream UCI events and cyclocross in particular.“
The parties have also partnered to provide exciting marketing and promotions throughout the 2021-2022 cyclocross season.
Ryan Fenton, Director of Global Rights Acquisition at FloSports said, “Including the 2022 Cyclocross World Championships in our FloBikes programming was a company priority. Our US subscribers made it clear that this event, held in the United States for the first time since 2013, was important to them. It’s also a natural step for FloSports as we continue to look for ways to invest in and promote the sport domestically in the United States. We are proud to partner with Brook and his team to bring this race to our platform.”
